Haven’t you often wondered why firearm manufacturers have never recommended a way to maintain their own product lines? Virtually every other industry does. Why not the firearm industry? In fact, if you do not follow recommended care and maintenance most industries will not honor their warranty.

KG did ask why and began to research what was needed to care for and maintain a firearm without hype. After all, no matter what the make, model or caliber all guns do the very same thing.

To that end, KG developed a Four Step Process which is essential to thoroughly clean a firearm.

• Step 1: Remove carbon fouling
• Step 2: Remove copper/lead wash
• Step 3: Remove residue
• Step 4: Protect parts from corrosion and lubricate

KG-1 through KG-4 was specifically formulated to address each of these steps and they do it well. No matter what other manufacturers tell you, there is no one product on the market today that will effectively address all four of these steps.

KG-1 4oz Carbon Remover
	Code: A601 Price: $5.95
KG-1 was initially formulated for exclusive use by a military group to remove carbon buildup from their weapons. Unlike other Cleaners, KG-1 contains no ammonia and is pH neutral. KG-1 is ideal for removing carbon from black powder rifles.

KG-2 4oz Bore Restore
	Code: A602 Price: $11.95
Originally developed to maintain the bore integrity of sniper rifles, KG-2 is being introduced to the public to provide shooters with a product that will actually improve the condition of the bore while cleaning it. Like KG-1, KG-2 contains no ammonia and uses a mechanical method to remove the worst of copper, lead and powder residue. KG-2 can be used when shooting numerous rounds in between cleanings or as a bore conditioner for those weapons needing extra care. KG-2 is an ideal product for fire polishing (A technique finer than Fire Lapping).

KG-3 19oz Solvent and Degreaser

KG-3 is a non-chlorinated ozone safe formula used to remove the residue loosened by KG-1 and KG-2 and is also used for cleaning and decreasing parts. KG-3 contains a special formulation of fast drying, water-displacing solvents which will rapidly cut through oil and grease, leaving no residue.

KG-4 2oz Gun Oil

KG-4 was the only oil to pass the original requirements set forth in Mil-L-63460D. It is a blend of the finest lubricants available and contains no synthetics. With very low surface tension, KG-4 exhibits excellent lubrication and provides outstanding corrosion protection. KG-4 has the added property of keeping current firing residue in suspension which allows for easier cleaning. KG-4 has been field tested for endurance using 50 caliber machine guns. Initially the 50s were experiencing stoppages at 750 to 1000 rounds. After using KG-4 (CLP2) the guns were fired and stopped at 6000 rounds due to heat and to clean the weapons.

KG-12 4oz Big Bore Cleaner

KG-12 was developed to clean the copper fouling from large bore military weapons. KG-12 will provide shooters with a product which will remove the toughest of copper fouling without harming any other metal. Unlike other etching, ammonia based cleaners, KG-12 will not hurt the metal of the bore. There is no need to "neutralize" KG-12 like you do with other ammonia based products and no need to "get it out quick" like ammonia based enchants. KG-12 contains no ammonia. KG-12 is water based. KG-12 will remove the worst of copper fouling, and it will do it fast. KG-12 contains no synthetics. KG-12 was field tested on howitzers (One Million Dollars each) and other large bore guns with outstanding results. KG-410 8oz Light Weight Lube

Developed specifically for the Ventura County Sheriffs Department, KG’s Light Weight Penetrating Oil is intended for use when a fast, temporary cleaning is necessary. It is especially effective for law enforcement agencies when they have officer qualification and a quick cleaning is necessary to be sure the firearm is in good operational condition before returning to service. KG-410 is also available for civilian use. Hunters and range shooters can quickly spray KG-410 on the firearm to protect it after a day of shooting and until you can clean it properly. The KG-410 is also used after the refinishing process to help the coatings resist burnishing.
